HoYoverse has recently announced the upcoming version 1.1 update for its popular new ARPG. The pre-load option for Honkai: Star Rail version 1.1 is now accessible, paving the way for an array of significant enhancements.

Among the notable inclusions are a revamped Herta Space Station, the introduction of three new playable characters named Silver Wolf, Luocha, and Yukong, and an assortment of captivating companion missions. Furthermore, players can anticipate enriching gameplay feature updates and a series of thrilling events designed to captivate and immerse them in exciting adventures.

Honkai: Star Rail 1.1 Pre-Load Times & Details

Honkai Star Rail version 1.1 update is set to launch globally on June 7. To ensure a smooth installation process on PC, players are advised to click on the “Game Pre-Installation” option located beside the “Start Game” button. Mobile players, on the other hand, should launch the game and tap the “Pre-download resources package” button situated at the bottom left corner of the login screen.

It’s worth noting that the download sizes may vary, with approximately 4.5GB for iOS and 7.5GB for PC. However, it’s important to exercise patience as access to the new content and features introduced in Honkai: Star Rail version 1.1 will only be granted once the server maintenance is completed. The servers are scheduled to become operational once again on June 6 at 8 PM PDT / 11 PM EDT / 10 PM CDT.

During the maintenance period, Trailblazers will be unable to log into the game. Therefore, it is advisable to take note of the maintenance schedule and plan accordingly. Additionally, following the completion of maintenance, it is crucial to update the game client. Given the substantial size of the updated game resources, utilizing a Wi-Fi connection is strongly recommended for a seamless download experience.
