Sharing is caring.

Bases in Palworld serve as your home, your workshop, and your defense against the wilds of the game. But you’ll more than likely create more than a single base, which means moving all of your resources from one area to another becomes important. But how the heck do you move so many resources? Well, here’s an easy way to share resources between bases in Palworld.

Sharing Palworld Resources Between Bases

As you’ll already know, resource pooling extends only up to the borders of each base. This means that each base has its own set of resources that are separate from the others. So, if you want to share resources between bases, you need to physically transfer them. This can be a major pain since you’ll quickly become overburdened carrying mass amounts of resources. And once you’re overburdened you can’t move. Thankfully, there’s a trick: use the grappling gun to quickly zoom about your bases and share resources fast.

What you’ll need to do is load yourself up with resources (don’t worry about being overburdened), then grapple hook your way over to the Palbox. From there, fast travel to your new base, then once you arrive grapple hook to your storage chests and dump the resources. Rinse and repeat.

Keep in mind that the range on the grappling hook is really short, so make sure everything you need to access is in close proximity. It can be a bit fiddly, but it’s better than doing 10 trips to move everything!

How to Move Your Base in Palworld

As you progress in Palworld, you might find the need to move your base to a new location. This can be for a variety of reasons – maybe you’ve found a location with richer resources, or perhaps you’re just looking for a change of scenery. Whatever the reason, moving a base in Palworld requires a bit of planning and effort.

To move your base, you need to disassemble your Palbox and then reconstruct it at your desired location. During this process, some base-specific structures like incubators and ranches might get destroyed. However, most structures like houses and workshop benches will remain intact.

Having multiple bases allows you to diversify your operations. For example, you can have one base dedicated to mining, while another focuses on breeding.
