Give it a whirl.

It’s your lucky weekend if you haven’t yet played Blizzard’s awesome Diablo 4. Announced via the official Diablo Twitter account, players can take a free dive into the world of Diablo 4 right now by visiting the game’s Battle.net shop page.

Free Diablo 4 Trial Runs Until Oct. 30

The free trial period is set to run until October 30, giving players a generous window to explore the game and its dark, demon-infested universe. During this trial, participants will be able to play up to Level 20, gaining access to a substantial portion of the gameplay experience and offering them a taste of the adventure that awaits.

The best bit is that if you do decide you want to keep playing after the conclusion of the trial then you can do so without losing progress. Your playthrough picks up from exactly when your trial ends.

Released in June for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation consoles, Diablo 4 has proven to be a massive success for its developer, World of Warcraft studio Blizzard, and its publisher. It has been revealed that Diablo 4 is Blizzard’s fastest-selling title to date, and over 10 million players “experienced” the game during its launch month.

The recent acquisition of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft has raised questions about the potential inclusion of Diablo 4 in Xbox Game Pass. However, Xbox boss Phil Spencer indicated earlier this month that players may need to wait until 2024 before seeing Activision Blizzard titles integrated into Game Pass, including the highly-anticipated Diablo 4.

For those already engrossed in the world of Diablo, Season 2 of the game, titled the “Season of Blood,” was launched on October 17. This update brought with it a new questline in which players are tasked with recruiting a vampire hunter. You can check out some of our recent coverage, including how to beat the Echo of Duriel.
