During Ubisoft Forward, two fresh trailers were unveiled, alongside the announcement of the release date for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. The upcoming game allows players to assume the role of the Na’vi, defending their beloved world, Pandora, against the relentless exploitation by humans.

James Cameron, the renowned filmmaker responsible for Avatar and its sequel, The Way of Water, expressed his desire to extend the immersion in this captivating world beyond the realm of cinema, aligning with his visionary approach.

To fulfill this vision, Ubisoft Massive and Lightstorm collaborated to create an expansive open world with an original storyline. Cameron emphasized that the game will coexist harmoniously with the narratives depicted in the films.

Ditte Deenfeldt, the Game Director at Ubisoft Massive, revealed that players will have the opportunity to explore new territories of Pandora, both on land and in the skies. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is set to launch on December 7, 2023, pending any unforeseen delays.

In terms of the story, the RDA (Resource Development Administration) has expanded its presence in Pandora, resorting to the abduction of young Na’vi individuals in order to indoctrinate them into the ways of humans.

In related news, Assassin’s Creed Mirage was also showcased at Ubisoft Forward 2023. Also, Skull & Bones finally resurfaced an announced a closed beta.
